I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified EMDR Therapist. I recently moved to San Diego, California with my family but I lived in Indiana my entire life and earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Purdue University.

 

I started my career at a community mental health center in the school based program where I worked with families, children and adolescents. I also worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit with adults who suffered from chronic mental illness.

 

I am a Certified EMDR therapist which is an evidence based trauma psychotherapy with outstanding results. I primarly see adults and adolescents in my practice. My work is usually centered around trauma, but many times clients may not realize this is where the issues arise. 

 

I am also Certified Personal Trainer and used to work as a Fitness Coach on the side which means I also have a passion for health and overall wellness and helping those who suffer from disordered eating and body image.

 

Outside of work, I am a mom of two girls, a triathlete and an animal lover. You will often see a therapy dog in my office.
